Hi guys got a 04 citroen berlingo 1.9d in today with both the mil and air bag lights on. Code 1687 unknown code in engine ecu. SP support helped me with an explanation "metering oil pump stepping motor circuit malfunction"????????? And then the air bag 4 codes. Three clear but leaves 0801 "level of drive module trigger 1 present".???? I think anther module will cure that, as it seems its been in a collision. The odometer box is empty, but lit up, the battery goes flat after a few minutes with diagnostics running then returns with the same 4 codes including the engine 1 code. I will fit a new battery tomorrow, but can anyone shed some light on the engine code 1687 please.
Dennis
Just read on BBA-reman that fuse2 should be removed as it should not be there. Will look at that tomorrow.
Dennis.

Had a look today and fuse #2 had indeed been fitted, so removed it and cleared fault code, disconnected battery for 3 mins while i fitted a new one and all is well. The air bag light is still on. My spi gives code0801 but my lexia states no comms? I swapped the control module, but still has the same code0801. Lexia no comms. Very strange.
